Tour Highlights by Day

🏍️ Day 1 — Hella to Hrútafjörður

Ride north from Selfoss through the iconic Þingvellir National Park, home of Iceland’s oldest parliament and dramatic geology, then track toward Langjökull glacier and across highland roads before arriving at the coastal charm of Hrútafjörður. 

🌊 Day 2 — Hrútafjörður to Djúpavík

Explore the remote northern Westfjords and visit the haunting ruins of Djúpavík’s old herring station. After soaking in coastal views, unwind in the rugged geothermal pool at Krossneslaug. 

⛰️ Day 3 — Djúpavík to Flókalundur

Tackle hidden mountain roads and sweeping valleys between peaks as you push deeper into untouched Icelandic landscapes. End your day by the sea and relax in the scenic Hellulaug natural pool. 

🌅 Day 4 — Flókalundur to Patreksfjörður

Ride through narrow fjords, then stop at iconic spots like the red sands of Rauðisandur and the towering Látrabjarg cliffs — Europe’s westernmost point and a puffin haven — before arriving in Patreksfjörður. 

💦 Day 5 — Patreksfjörður to Þingeyri

🏔️ Day 6 — Þingeyri to Snæfellsnes Peninsula

Cross by ferry into the magical Snæfellsnes Peninsula, dotted with charming villages and dramatic natural landmarks like Kirkjufell, Svörtuloft lighthouse, and Djúpalónssandur beach. 

🏁 Day 7 — Snæfellsnes to Hella

Complete your loop by riding old mountain roads, scenic lakes, fjords, and the iconic Hvalfjörður — the Whale Fjord — before returning to Selfoss and ending your incredible week on the road.
