This 6-day guided enduro tour takes skilled riders deep into the rugged Icelandic highlands — across volcanic deserts, past thundering waterfalls, through glacial landscapes, and into remote wilderness that few travelers ever see. 

This tour is designed for riders with very good off-road experience and blends challenging terrain with some of Iceland’s most surreal nature — black sand beaches, huge lava fields, glaciers, canyons, geothermal hot springs, and iconic highland routes. 

Start & finish: Hella (with hotel pick-up and drop-off in Reykjavík on the first and last riding day). 

Adventure Highlights (by day)

🏁 Day 1 — Hella to Jökulheimar

Begin in Hella and ride into the highlands, past scenic lakes and waterfalls such as Hjálparfoss and Háifoss, then finish the day near Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier, surrounded by dramatic scenery. 

🌋 Day 2 — Into Wild Lava Fields

Cross the vast Veiðivatnahraun lava fields and explore the lakes and volcanic terrain around Veiðivötn, riding in the heart of Iceland’s untamed landscape. 

🔥 Day 3 — Volcano Craters & Highlands

Ride through landscapes shaped by ancient eruptions, passing freshwater volcanic craters with brilliant turquoise waters and unique geological formations. 

⛰️ Day 4 — Glaciers and Geothermal Wonders

Traverse the stunning Fjallabak region, soak in geothermal hot springs at Landmannalaugar, and ride along rivers, lakes, and views of Iceland’s glaciers. 

🏜️ Day 5 — Deep Highland Exploration

Today is about remote highland loops — from wild canyons like Eldgjá to pristine turquoise lakes and dramatic mountainscapes, all revealing Iceland’s raw geological force. 

🌅 Day 6 — Final Stretch to Hella

Conclude your adventure with scenic highland tracks past black sand plains, volcanoes such as Mælifell, deep canyons, and glacier views before reaching back to Hella to celebrate the journey.
